This ensures a stiffer and more sturdier steering on your bike.

It is compatible with all the forks that have the "tube neck" without thread inside. Original MATE X forks have such threaded neck, therefore a threaded compressor nut should be used in those cases. However, pretty much everything else nowadays is using straight or tapered fork tubes without a thread.
